Neuromod Institute

The NeuroMod Institute for Modeling in Neuroscience and Cognition aims at promoting modeling as an approach for integrating brain mechanisms and cognitive functions. To meet this central challenge of integration in cognitive science, the institute relies on the interdisciplinary resources available within the Université Côte d’Azur: more than 250 researchers and 16 different laboratories and research entities.

It is the third year that the Institute opens a call for PhD positions to foster interdisciplinary research and training. This call is done in partnership with other components of Université Côte d’Azur (3IA, EUR DS4H, EUR HEALTHY).

    Alexandra PLONKA is the winner of MT180 at Université Côte d'Azur !

    Alexandra Plonka is a doctoral student funded by the NeuroMod Institute at the laboratory CoBTeK (Cognition, Behaviour, Technology). She presented her thesis about the "Modeling of a graphical and gestural analysis system for the early diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia" and won the first prize of the competition "ma thèse en 180 secondes" at Université Côte d'Azur.     AWARD: Patricia REYNAUD-BOURET won the "médaille d'argent" from the CNRS

    The Director of the NeuroMod institute has won the "médaille d'argent" or silver medal of the French national center for scientific research (CNRS), congratulations !

    L'institut NeuroMod a célébré son inauguration officielle le lundi 22 mars 2021 depuis l'amphithéâtre le Galet (CHU, Hôpital Pasteur 2, Nice), lors d'une journée de conférences, toutes retransmises en direct, autour des thèmes de recherche phares de l'Institut. Cette journée signifiait également la clôture de la Semaine du Cerveau 2021.
