"The "Random Neural Network" (RNN)" Erol Gelenbe (Video, summary)

Mini-course

By showing measures examples on brain neurons where observed sequence of signals show both a brief and discontinuous behavior of near to be constant amplitude and a random behavior in time.

This lesson will start with a short introduction on the espected biological aspects of the RNN. This is the biological justification of the proposed model. This model enclosed ponctual signals of constant amplitude which repeate randomly in time. We will develop then a Markovian model of the state of the system which is mainly represented by the internal potential of each cells of the network.
